I've never seen a grasshopper feed on a daisy before so here's my souvenir.

Really great Macro, Elizabeth! Incredible super close detail on that grasshopper. The color and composition are great also. I just want to know how in the world you made it stay there while you rested the lens on his forehead! #14641

Thanks so much for your nice comments!
Oh boy! this one didn't come easy due to the constant movement of this hopper. I mounted my camera on a tripod and placed it close to the daisy as possible. I set my Nikon on continuous servo AF and followed this hopper with my camera while lying on my belly. This hopper landed on my face quite a few times and seemed to have gotten accustomed to my face after a while. It took me 24 shots to obtain 2 good ones from this ordeal. Anyway, This is what I love about photographing moving objects .....challenge!
