Purple Daisies

Uploaded: April 01, 2008

Description

Used Virtual Photographer to get the aged look to the can and shells, brought back the flowers' color with the history brush and then used unsharp mask to oversharpen the flowers for the almost painted look.

Sorry, I had to make an adjustment but will post the comments from the other.

Posted comments from the other image after a slight adjustment. There is a glitch on BP because I can't delete the first one, and it won't let me enter this one in the contest in its place.

I thank you all so much for your encouraging comments. If you commented on this one already, you don't need to comment again. I plan to link the comments on the other image to this one just as soon as I find out how to do it! The other one had a slight flaw, but there was a BP glitch the night I posted it and I couldn't delete it to enter this version. BP fixed it, so I was able to enter this one tonight. I have copied a few comments from the first night I posted the other image. #5736668

Beautiful still life and gorgeous effects, Carol! I wish I could use Virtual Photographer--that and Fractalius I can't use on the Mac. Plus now that the buZZ people have gone out of business, I can't use that one, either! Anyway, I love what you did with this floral! #5741033
