Yes, would like the specs on this new lens of yours! Looks like you're enjoying it. Great photo, nice even tones for that white, great crop, gorgeous species of flower! #5723556

Thank you Isabel and Christine.

Isabel, welcome back from Las Vegas and congrats to your son. So many golds!

Christine, I have tons of photos to submit from Sunday's shooting spree with this lens. Many are of flowers so stay tuned.......... I'll have all my usual settings included as I normally do. I edited this one from my Mom's laptop and did the best I could with it. I like the shot but would rethink the DOF next time I see one like this. My focus here was on the pistol (yellow part) and I'm not sure that what I was trying to do worked here. #5730537

A lovely flower you have chosen! White and red are difficult to capture and retain detail! You did a nice job with the perfect exposure! I would have left out that tiny green area in the lower right corner. Could just be me and it usually is, but the petal keeps leading my eye there! Nice work as usual Michael! #5739446

Thanks Aimee for the feedback. Yes, I agree I could have cropped and otherwise done a better job on this one. Their will be plenty more opportunities to shoot this type of flower. #5808359
