Photographed on the morning of the October wildfires with smoky sunlight to create a different color palette to the water.
The curl is distorted due to a backwash effect that occurs near the shore where the preceding wave reflects back onto the next oncoming wave.
This was edited from the previous submission with a tighter crop and some burning and dodging.
