Bus Trails

Description

f/5.0, 2, 18-55mm@18mm, DSC_10020, 7:02PM, ISO800, SP mode

I took this shot on Easter morning looking east down Miami's Coral Way (24th St.) just as you enter Coral Gables and pass under a canopy of oak trees in a residential area. The light trails are from a passing bus. The camera was mounted on a tripod and I used Apple's iPhoto to tweak the results. Enjoy!

This looks like fun, letting the lights do the "painting", and the rest of the bus is invisble. #5690472

Thank you Isabel, Eivor, and Kathy for your interest. I am always amazed with these light trail shots in low light with longer exposures. Sometimes, like here, the vehicle is invisible and the different light sources leave distinctive trails. It is indeed like magic; a lot of fun. #5695243

Fabulous, Michael!!!
Love the crisp, vibrant details in the trails. Especially love the repeated pattern in the yellow (just above the green stripe)!
Wonderful perspective.
Great execution!

Your photos are usually so calm, bright and involve water, lol, that I have to comment on this one! All that fabulous light seems to create a whole new world to capture... what was once an ordinary street is now a new dimension! Very cool! #5702014
