Hi everyone and thanks for the comments!I was so very close to this bear...I could hear her breathing!! Came across her in the middle of Denali National Park, Alaska last September. It was an awesome experience. We were told that these bears do not look at humans as food so not to be TOO afraid, although, if chased, DO NOT RUN! These bears can run over 35mph if they feel threatened. She pretty much ignored us as she was on her way to somewhere else. It was an experience of a lifetime to be that close...I have more pics of bears out on Katmai Peniunsula..watching them swim and catch salmon. Thanks again! #5685387
