Description

I captured this shot at Letchworth State Park. I got there early morning to get the light just right. As the sun was just coming up and the fog was just about lifted, I positioned my self for the shot using my Canon 10D, a tripod and my Sigma 70-200 2.8 HSM EX lens. I set my camera On manual, I always shoot manual for landscapes. My settings were 1/6 sec shutter Speed, F-Stop of 22, ISO 100 at 135mm focal length. The slower shutter speeds Give the water a soft look as you can see in the photo. Also in the shot you can see some of the fog still in by the water along with some mist from the falls. The use of a tripod is a must for this type of shot. I love to do water shots.
