Amber- Hello there. I'm to new to be giving anyone advise. I will give you one though. Study the pictures of others. See what they do, and ask questions. Many here on BP are only happy to help and how to's. I have learned so much just by studying the pictures of what I concider some of the finest photographers here on BP.
Thats all the adivise I can give you.
As to this portrait, I think you have done extremely well with it. The lighting and clarity are outstanding. colors are rich and vibrant. Skin tones outstanding. Details excellent.
I think you have all the key ingredients here done so well that it is a great picture.
