Morning Blush Rannoch

Uploaded: March 05, 2008

Description

Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 0.45ND grad,F22 at 2 sec, Velvia. Location: Rannoch moor, Glencoe, Scotland. A dusting of snow had fallen on Rannoch moor and melted quickly. At first light I watched as the first blush of color warmed the clouds and distant peaks. Small gaps must have opened to the clouds to let weak sunlight paint the snow covered slopes, The misty covering was thin as some of the mountains had turned blue from reflected skylight promising good photography.
