Hi again Louison! Could you describe how you exposed this? Your background is so wonderfully white and yet the color and clarity is impeccible! I struggle with getting a perfect white background like this!! #839349

Louison Rousseau October 13, 2004

Why, certainly! The bg was already white and since I exposed for the skin (aperture priority mode) I got an even whiter white on the bg.

Then, using PS, I upped the highlights and medium light levels, which really made the bg white and without a wrinkle (the fabric had wrinkles in it) and increased the dark level a little, for more contrast. I also brought the contrast level up by 10.

The skin color now looked quite unnatural, so I desaturated the whole image lightly (-10)and I selectively brought back the levels down a little on the faces, hair and hands.

That's it! #839366
