A Burned Out Window Frame and Bricks

Uploaded: February 01, 2008

Description

A Composite of two images shots at different shutter speeds, combined and tone-mapped to adjust colors a little.

This image was shot of an abandoned building off Chulia Street, Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.

I'm entering this image in the monthly theme, "Diversity" because of the numerous textures and surfaces represented in this image: smooth concrete, rough concrete, char-burned wood, red bricks, white bricks, open space and solid space....I just see a lot of different things in this space.
