Being Silly

Uploaded: January 31, 2008

Description

After I took some photos of Gabi, Zeke let me get a couple of him. He was very reluctant and unwilling till I told him he could have some candy. I only got 2 pictures of him that I really liked. He was just in a silly mood that day.

So, here's one of him.

ISO 400, 1/80, 2.8, 100.0 mm macro lens, all natural light, black velvet fabric for backdrop

I converted to black and white, played with levels, add a bit of contrast, and enhanced his eyes. I also burned a little spot on the fabric because light was hitting it and was not black like the rest.

As always, I LOVE to know what you think. I appreciate all feedback, advice, and comments.

Thanks for looking!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!

Exif: F Number: 2.8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/80 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT

I like the DOF on this one. Nice eyes too!

It's too bad he doesn't want you taking his picture. He takes great photos when you get a good one. #843579

Great looking kid! Boys are harder as they usually don't want to be photographed. I love this portrait. I think his silliness makes it real. Love the eyes. You did a great job! #5546399
