Photo is exactly as shot from the camera. This little bugger would not stand still on the sea wall but offered me this pose. Enjoy!

Kathy, Thanks so much for your comments. The more I studied this photo, the more I realized it was special. I wanted to share it. I'm new to this site and look forward to becoming a part of the group to learn and share photos. I was looking through your gallery and was very impressed. I see we both like the 70 - 300mm range lens. I just rented this lens for a couple of days and it's opened up a whole new range of possibilities for me. I have some more shots to share that I took with it before returning it. I am purchasing an 18-200mm VR lens which will be my first lens to supplement the kit lens that came with my camera (18-55mm). #5413265Ellen Hodges February 02, 2008

It seems that the best shots are always the ones that we didn't intend to get! This is a great shot....just love the sun behind so you can see the shadows of the legs. Birds can be impossible, but I think you came away with a wonderful shot! #5447462Michael S. Lazarus February 06, 2008
