At Rest

Uploaded: September 28, 2004

Description

One hundred years ago, Turtle Mountain (Crowsnest Pass, Alberta) was the scene of the Frank Slide, one of Canada's worst disasters. Ninety million tons of rock fell, destroying part of a town and killing almost 90 people. Like this eagle, the mountain sits at rest, but it can not be held by the will of man. Just as the eagle will take flight when it chooses, so too will the mountain unleash its awesome power and fall once again.
