Eagle Eye

Uploaded: September 25, 2004

Description

This is from that same day I found the eagles fishing. I stayed there about 5 hours without moving my location much. The longer I stayed, the closer the eagles seemed to fly to me. This one flew right in front of me! That was one of my favorite days shooting! -K

In a little bit, I'll have to be away from my computer. I'll catch up with everyone I don't catch this morning tonight. Have a good one! -K #172360

K, patience is the key to great wildlife photography and it certainly paid off for you this time. My wife thinks i'm nuts for sitting by a pond waiting for the perfect shot of a dragonfly or some other bug, but the rewards are usually worth the wait.

You've done a fantastic job of capturing and cropping this shot. Great work and congratulations on your patience! Yhs is sure much more majestic than my spider entry from today...lol! #803701

Kudos to you for staying put for so long. It certainly paid off. I love how his wings reach from corner to corner. I read once that they have a wing span of like 6 - 8 feet. Amazing and you captured it so very well!! #810092
