Thanks Gail & Carol. This is another example of seeing something you like but at the time you're not sure why. (I've got bunches that I still don't know why I photographed). I like the texture and alluring value of this one. Like a fine wine though, you have to let it breath awhile before it becomes pleasing. This is not one that draws too much attention if you are scrolling through lots of photos. Sometimes they turn out to be the best in the long run.

Thanks, It's amazing what one can learn by observing the talents of others at this site. I am awestruck by some of the works displayed. I was always told that if I wanted to better myself, hang around people who were more talented & wiser. So, here I am.

Thanks Dolores,
The light house is in Nova Scotia at Peggy's Cove just below Halifax. I wanted to get a sunset shot, but my wife & the other couple with us were freezing. It was very cold & windy that day. Some people don't understand how some photographers can be driven by there desire to capture a simple shot, or what we will go through to get it.
