Great shot-- really captures the fun of summer! I bet you had to lie down on the ground to get this one. Congrats on your finalist.

Thank you Nancy. Yes, I did get down on the ground to get this one. I frequently find myself doing all sorts of 'acrobats' to get a picture. LOL.

I also wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed your gallery! You do BEAUTIFUL work!!! To have someone of your incredible talent take the time to comment on one of my pictures - well, it made my day! :)

I thought I would also mention that you are actually the photographer that inspired me to resubmit "Hopscotch". I read your comment in your picture entitled "Coming to the Light" about submitting it 3 times before winning. (It's an awesome picture by the way and well deserving of your win!) So thanks for the inspiration to not give up on a picture that you believe in!

Many thanks! And God Bless!!

WOW, Shelly - this is a really superb capture...and SO deserving of its Finalist recognition a few years ago, too, so congrat's!! :o) This image took me back to my childhood, when we used to play hopscotch A LOT...so thanks for the memory!! :o)

LOL about frequently doing all kinds of 'acrobatics' to get the angle/perspective/point of vew that you want for an image!! I know what you mean...but, like someone else commented on a photo here in BP recently, one just has to FIRST ask oneself the question - "will I be able to get back up again" - LOL!! ;o) #6115664
