Isabel,

This is a really neat photograph. Lot a green! Nice detail captured here and I like the crop. Nice color, too. #163187

Thanks Paul.
In another shot I tried to capture the hole bridge with the water at the bottom but it didnt come out as nice as this one I think.

Nice shot, Isabel. I like your strong composition and the color in this. #742047

Magical capture and photograph, Isabel, I love the greening enhancementand the composition. I also love how the 'structure' of the bridge causes the eyes of the viewer to start at the bottom and work their way up and out to drink in the splendor of the imagry. Very well done, my dear friend - your good friend, Allan #742062

Outstanding... I love this.. All the greens are just beautiful.. Ok yea.. I've said it once and I'll say it agian.. GREEN is my favorite color..Very nicely done Isabel !! #742161

I like the composition, the greens really portray the Oregon Coast line, the only small thing I would say is that the saturation may be a wee bit too much as the cememt pilings also look green. Maybe, they were from reflection, just not sure. I like how the people on the bridge anchor the size of the bridge. Nice job Isabel. #742182

NIce shot Isabel, I love the greens of the trees and foliage, but I wonder is the bridge also green or is that a result of enhancement it ps? The composition is very strong and I love the geometry of the bridge. Very similar to a bridge that I visit occasionally in West Virginia, the New River Gorge Bridge which is the highest single arch bridge east of the Mississippi. #742229

I like the PS work you did on this, Isabel! I remember you showing this one to me before. #742341

Noel Baebler August 29, 2004

I love the angle and the greens. What I find distracting are the rubes in their autombiles. If you don't have anything to do you for an hour or so, you may want to "clone out" the citizenry. Or shoot the scene when the bridge is clear. Just a thought. #742377

Neat image and perspective. The green sure gives it a different feel! #742626

Wonderful image, Isabel, I like the green. I disagree with Noel, the people and the automobiles and to the perspective and dimension! #742675

Thank you Colleen, Cathy, Donna, Mike, Donald, Kristen, Noel, Stephen, and Deborah for taking the time to comment.

Noel: Ill try to go to the place again and try to take some more shots without people.
Deborah: Hmm I think that in the shot I was trying to get people/cars in the picture because of that reason. And also so you could understand it was a bridge and not just some green thing.

:) Well thanks again everyone. #742772

Allan L. Whitehead August 29, 2004

Isabel, don't you dare do that. The people are what gives the whole image legitamacy, as you can tell the enormity of the bridge size. Eliminating them could suggest to some viewers that this is just a small insignificant bridge instead of the marvelous piece of architecture that it is. And there is no evidence that these are 'Richmond' Rubes, as of yet - Allan #742802

I really like this shot. Green is my favorite color too, so of course I like that choice. The shot makes me want to look over the edge and see how far down the bottom is. It gives a feeling of being gigantic...don't know if it really is, but that's what your perspective leads me to believe. Love it! #742816

Stanley J. Contrades August 29, 2004

One thing is for sure, I wouldn't be looking over the edge of this bridge ... Whew! The movement across the bridge adds to the dimension and perspective of the bridge and without that it would be just another bridge ... only a big green one :-)
Good job, Isabel!!
