Snoqualmie Falls

Uploaded: October 30, 2007

Description

Went up to Snoqualmie Falls last spring. The weather was nice at my house, but as I drove up I-90 towards Snoqualmie, the weather completely changed and it started pouring. I almost turned around and headed back towards the west, as it was still clear in that direction, and the sunset was looking promising. I decided to just head up anyways in hope that I might get lucky. When I got there, it wasn't raining as bad as I though it would be, and I managed to get off a couple of shots. I had to put a microfiber cloth over my lens in between shots as the spray coming up off the falls was everywhere and made it really difficult to get a clear shot. As I waited, the sun broke free for a bit and lit up just the edge of the falls, along with the hotel that sits above them. The light dancing around on everything was a pretty nice display for a minute or two.

Wow. You've done wonderful work with the Sigma lens. It was worth braving the elements to get this shot. I love it. #5006550

Darien -

I think this is one of the best Snoq Falls photos I've seen. Great job!
