Description

I had to do a lot of dodging and burning to define the outlines, shadows and highlights as the midday NM sun tends to wash out everything beneath it. I softened the harsh edges in PS too.

Exif: F Number: 11, Exposure Bias Value: +0, Exposure Time: 1/320, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 400, White Balance: auto white balance, Focal Length: 85mm, Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D

Congratulations on your finalist on this, Aggie. The tones are lovely and you did a great job rescuing it from the harsh midday light--it looks warm but not at all blown out. #5148111

Aggie, This is a wonderful image. The center placement actually works here. I would like to see it with some extra burning on the edges to draw the eye in even more. You do lovely work. #5766304
