another beautiful detail from portuguese fields! I was fascinated with these lovely "things" and with the yellow flowers here and there... i desaturated almost everything except the flowers!

This is enchanting, Su!
It looks like a scene out of a fantasy book.
Love the hand made haystacks, the detail, the exposure and tinting, but the flowers......
the flowers are exquistite!
It must have taken hours to do this.
Well worth it, too.

I am fascinated by the hand made haystacks (thank you Bill, now I know the name) they are like something of another world when we see them all along a large... or small, field!!! They are beautiful, elegant, enchanting, and I photograph them as much as I can because this "old" technique won´t last much longer, very soon we will see the rolls made by machines. Yes, they are also beautiful but nothing comparable to hand made haystacks!!!
I am happy this pleased you!
