O'siyo, Jennie! We take in most of the Pow Wows in this area. This one is a favorite of ours as it is held in an open area in the woods of Anthony Wayne state park in Bear Mtn, NY.
This setting gives it an authentic ambiance, and with a little imagination, one can almost feel that he or she has gone back in time.(smile)
By contrast, we attended the National Pow Wow in Washington, DC., commemorating the 1st year of the National Museum of the American Indian, which was held inside the Basketball arena and it just did not have the same feel.
