Kingfisher Fishin'

Uploaded: October 21, 2007

Description

Hi Guys,

Here's another from my Kingfisher site...
Today he was fishing for some Three-spined sticklebacks, wich are not easy to swallow....
In the end he did drop the fish as it was too big & dangerous for him...

Greetings,

Jeroen Stel

Fantastic shot Jeroen, that 600 mm did it's job here. These guys are hard to get, very elusive. Another great shot for your beautiful gallery. Very nice.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your kind words!
I have been working with this and other Kingfishers for some months now and put up my hide at about 4 to 5 meters away, so the 600mm makes things easier, but a 200mm or 300mm with 1,4 or 2x converter would have been enough.

Greetings,
