I wonder what they think about... f/8, 1/400, 70-200mm @ 70mm. Water altered with channel mixer in PS, BuZZ filter added and dream filter for overall image.

Hi Jennifer, some of the herons here are well socialized. The fishermen often feed them leftover bait, so they equate people with food I suppose. A few are very tolerant of me being close. (They will fly if I get in their space, LOL!) I try to move slow, but track with them. I spooked a beautiful pair of mallards tonight, so I know how you feel. ;o) #689967
