A Letter from Albie

Uploaded: October 06, 2007

Description

A letter from my father's best mate during WW2. Albie died five months after this letter was written, and my father kept all of his letters in an old black box. They were kindred spirits even after so many years.

What a fabulous and emotive image this is, Anne!! Wow!! I'm sure it was captured, and then presented, by you with so much love for...AND with so many fond memories of...your dear Dad!! No wonder this image received a Second Place award, too - it was REALLY well-deserved, so congrat's!! :o) #6267926
