Moon Over Medford

Uploaded: October 03, 2007

Description

This is my very first successful attempt to take a perfect moon picture! I took several images this evening, trying to get the shutter speed and exposure just right. I'm glad to say that this image is straight out of the camera; no editing done other than the cropping.

I used my Canon 20D with a Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS USM set up on a tripod. Image stabilization on, manual focus, in shutter priority mode.

Taken on 9/28/07 at 9:27pm from the back deck of my home.

Shutter speed: 1/800 sec.
Lens aperture: F/2.8
Focal Length: 200mm
ISO: 200
