Wonderful shot, Pamela! I like the tonals and textures. #152355

Thank you, Leanne. This was one shot where I was really glad to have no bright colors to distract from the textures. Glad you like it too.

I love these guys/girls! They are also very wary, so when you get a good shot like this, it is a great accomplishment! I love the honks they give us when we have intruded within their comfort zone! #674863

Thanks so much for your praise.

I like them too. I think Canada Geese are often underrated, especially in areas where they like to flock on golf courses.... This guy didn't seem too worried about me, he stayed where he was without honking and was continually looking around, not just watching me. He was probably willing to stay for me because I was in my car and a lot of cars go through the Bosque del Apache every year. The good old vehicular blind...

Pam, nice capture and, while I like the subdued colors, have you thought of doing it in B&W? I think you might really like the outcome. #690890

Ooh. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks, Randy.

Pam, I do like this better in color. Either way it is a great shot though! #875241

Thanks, Peggy!

I think I like it better in color too.... The color shot made it to the semi-finals, so I thought I might try the black and white this month.
