Hi Paul: A well-deserved congratulations ... this is such an awesome image! In fact, this shot makes a fine selection for BetterPhoto's monthly "Where in the World?" quiz. It will be featured in the new issue of BP's PhotoFlash newsletter.

So please don't give away the location, Paul - let's see if anyone can come up with the correct answer! I'll check back later to see how things are going.

Again, Paul, congrats on your excellent photo. And, for everyone else, have fun guessing where this scene can be found!

Best regards,
Kerry Drager

Beautiful photo. I am honestly unsure where it was taken. I'm going to go out on a limb and say...Alaska?? #1145805

The photo is taken at Mount Rainier National Park. I worked there during college in the summer of 1985. One of the best summers of my life. Nice shot! #1145861

Definitely Mt. Rainier. Unfortunately, it's my mom who has hiked around the entire mountain, and not me, but I'm going to guess either Paradise or Spray Park? #1145891

I was going to guess it was taken at Mount Saint Helen's, but I must be wrong. #1146101

My guess is it was taken from the Methow Valley, Winthrop, WA. looking up to Gardner mountain, Washington North Cascades. #1146253

Looks like the east side of Mt. Baker, taken from the Artist Point area.

(Sorry for the previous post, it was an accident!)

Mt. Rainier National Park. But my question is what month and what meadow? If I had to guess I'd say late May or early June. #1147464

Mt Rainier, taken from the Paradise meadows area in the Mount Rainier National Park, Washington State. #1147585

It's Mt. Rainier. I have a similar photo without the lilies. #1148533

Yes, no doubt Mt. Rainier, from Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park. #1151535

I was pretty sure it was Mt. Rainier, and many other messages ahead of me have confirmed that. A few summers ago we spent a week camping in the area, and totally enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful shot of the lilies (not to mention the grandeur of the mountain itself)!!! :-) #1154499

Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking part in BetterPhoto's "Where in the World?" quiz. And, for all of you who said that this is Mount Rainier (in Washington state) ... well, you're right!

Thanks for contributing ... and again, Paul, congrats on capturing this awesome image!
