Going Tribal

Uploaded: August 30, 2007 17:17:06

Description

My boyfriend and I travelled to Lake Sebu, a far off town where the native and colorful T'boli tribe dwells peacefully. I took a photo of him taking a photo of a T'boli family in their wooden boat and vivid costumes. In their tribe, it's the woman who does most of the work.

Great shot. I keep thinking that seeing the front of the boat might be nice. #726959

Well done Jojie, great composition and color and reflections. I have seen this image many times on this site. I love the story it tells. With your narrative I like it even better.
These folks have a very advanced culture. I think their custom is catching on around the world. That's progress. #6449457
