F22, 1s, ISO 100, 40mm, RAW, circular polarizer, rare (for FL) Class II river rapids at Hillsborough River State Park north of Tampa. Today Justin & I met with BP member Nemil Chabebe and his wife, Renee for a bit of shooting and fun.

Colleen and Lynne, I really appreciate your kind comments! Update: I tried something found in a forum and my PC started; however, if I turn it off at the next thunderstorm, which will probably be today, I still don't know if it will start up again. So not sure if I will be around much or not until I know more about what is/was wrong with the PC. #4699320

First. sorry to hear about your cp. Know how a bummer that can be. I love your work and your talent and look forward to seeing what you captured for the day. Hope all goes well and you get up and running soon as I do miss when your not on.
As to the photo. Super job, almost like an abstract of the river. Colors are simply beautiful. the flow of the lines and the title all make for another super job.

Tammy, Susan and Frank, thank you for all your support and encouragement! And Tammy and Frank, thanks for your well-wishes about my PC problem. It is actually up and running at the minute, but when I shut down again at the next storm, I am not sure whether it will start again or not! I can't do much with it until I get some money due to me in about a month. That will be a long time w/o a PC unless it is a minor repair and something I can afford now. #4701230

Dianna and Amy, thank you so much for your encouraging words! Amy, I hope it isn't much; I am leaning towrds the hope that just the power supply needs replacing! I have certainly had some problems with it recently...I am on my fourth or fifth hard drive (I have actually lost count). #4703773

WOW, Love this, the color and lines are so very cool!
Keepin my fingers crossed girl for the health of your PC lol, My modem got hit by lightening, and the with the water flooding we had a circuit blow and fried my power supply, thank goodness I have spare parts around here lol...I was going crazy. I actually stole the modem out of my husbands PC LMAO

Peaches, I didn't have a power supply around, and that is the one thing I have never tried to replace (never have needed to), so I don't know if it is something I could do or not.

Nemil, LOL about my combat photography! I bet you have a some good river photos, although I know the sunlight was making it very difficult. I went back today and the lighting was a bit better but not as good as I would like. #4734788

Thank you so much for your kind comment Heather. Yes, I love them too, especially waterfalls, but Florida is flat so we miss out on those! And even river rapids are rare in Florida, especially where I am. There is nothing so relaxing as listening to water! I have always wanted a water garden in my yard! #5134240
