Finalist
This photo was taken in a gallery at Versailles, empty at the time of my visit--perhaps because it is practically a natural black and white and in stark contrast to the ostentatious splendor and glitter of the rest of the palace. While I did take the photo in color, converting and selecting the blue in PSE-4, the decision as to WHAT to select was done for me--the only spot of color in this neutral corridor was the bench cushion. 1/30 sec - f 2.80 - ISO 100 - available light
