Fantastic close-up and great clarity!! This reminds me of hyper realism art in 70's. This has the similar spirit. You are a great visual artist, Steven! #701038Wendy Stevenson July 30, 2007

I have often thought about acquiring this lens, but my eyes are old, and I have trouble focusing manually. I have to ask what is a macro of? #5423428Steven E. Ray January 31, 2008
Good question, I was not very detailed early in my BP postings :) I took this right after I had obtained my lens. I climbed up on a chair and photographed the water condensation on the top inside of a 5 gallon water bottle. The type that sit in an upright water cooler :) The lens is difficult to use because it is not really a normal lens, but more like a microscope with a small aperture. At 3X, a person can no longer hold it steady free handed. Breathing looks like an earth quake shaking through the lens. My eye sight is getting poor too and that is also a challenge. #5423670Songbird Cline June 21, 2008
