f2.8 1/3sec tripod 35mm -2/3 stops taken May 8, 2007 Appomattox Courthouse, Virginia. Jailhouse room on second floor. Use perspective control to give the look of above the bed.
Dodged, burned and softened to give 3 areas of light. Window, floor and bed. Didn't want the window to be the focal point..

How austere William. Doesn't look too homey but fabulous shot in b&w color. #698308William Moore July 24, 2007

This puritanical and unadorned look is fantastic and your perspective control...whatever that is, really heightens this feeling. Great job on this, Bill!! #4555670Steve Mescha July 25, 2007

Great job! Again, you have captured the essence of this space - a haunting sense of someone, somewhere in the past who once occupied this room. Outstanding! #4582917Stephen Zacker July 31, 2007
