Sunset An Teallach Ridge

Uploaded: May 13, 2007

Description

An Teallach, Dundonnell, Scotland. The climb up An Teallach is fairly arduous and not terribly exciting lasting about 4 hours. The first bit is relatively flat and enclosed in a boggy valley. It is only in the last few yards that you get the reward for the effort you put in. Frankly it will blow you away. The view is the finest in Scotland. On this occasion I camped at the top, took advantage of the sunset and was spellbound at sunrise. Pity I forgot me matches and couldn't have a brew at the top.

Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 0.6ND grad soft edge, F22 at 2 seconds, Velvia.

Beautiful scenery and capture, Ian! I don't know about it being the best in Scotland (there are so many great views) but a grand view indeed! #654849
