Earthscape

Uploaded: March 28, 2007

Description

I went on a little vacation recently, but NO, I didn't leave the earth in order to obtain this earthscape. I love to photograph skies and this one had so much interest that I wanted to get the fullest view of it so I used my 16mm fisheye. This wide-angle gives a curve to the landscape as this one has... my husband noticed that it looked like a view of the earth as seen from outer space if it was turned upside down. So, I turned it upside down and found he was right. So, without going to outer space, I seemed to have captured a photo that looks like I was there. My husband thinks I retreat there often! ;-)
