Wow Norm! What a wild idea. I like the saturation, of course. It would be interesting to see the Dry Brush filter applied to Mother Earth as well. That would make her blend more smoothly into her environment, both visually and conceptually. Know what I mean?

Hey Steve, thanks for checking out the image!

This will probably be more information than you want to know but this picture has 4 major elements.

Mom Earth is a posed picture of my wife holding up her hand. The plants filling her face and hand via a clipping mask, were shot down in Boca Raton in Fla. as were the sky/water scene and stork.

Various artistic filters were used on all the elements, dry brush being the primary.

Norm, when I read the title I mis-read it and though I saw Middle Earth and a Lord of the Rings fan.
You did a great job filling the pieces...hand and face of your wife...with photo elements and constructing this amazing "world."

Thanks for your most comprehending commnent on my latest post, Norm!! #3959831

Thanks for the wonderful comments, Melissa, Marta & Paul!

Melissa, your works keep me on my toes!

Marta, Having peeked at your gallery, I like your sense of imagination also and the beautiful area of the country that you live in abounds with good stimulus. (smile)

Paul, I like your use of the flood filter that appears in some of your images. As a Piscean, I'm drawn to the water element.

Norm, I have no idea what level of consciousness you exist on but to come up with this idea is really quite something! Love the concept and your execution is superb! I just don't know HOW you do it!!! I'll be thinking of this one for quite a while!!! #4032152

Hey now, Wendy!

It's all out there, I just try to open up to it. (smile)

To me, this image represents the feminine aspect of compassion as Mom-E contemplates how she can help this little creature with one leg.

Thanks for look'n and the wonderful comments!

Very creative and imaginative image, Norm. Love the saturated colors! You've got a vision far apart from the rest of us--and that's a good thing!

Great job as usual!!
