This is really just breathtaking, Marie! So rich in color and detail and what a capture. His expression, body language and lip-smacking tongue all say he's getting have you for breakfast....and not as a guest! #107866

Wonderful capture of this guy, Marie! I have been watching him a lot lately at the zoo, but I haven't been successful at getting a good shot. Kudos to you!

Thanks, Cindy, Bonnie, and Darren for the great comments!

Bonnie, how did you know?? I had a huge steak strapped to my tripod! LOL
Actually, I have been known to talk to these guys but haven't resorted to empty promises yet!

Darren, yes I do know what you mean and I have to say that since I was the only one there it was a little uncomfortable - that look I was getting for a moment! Sometimes that ravine doesn't seem all that wide!

Thanks again,
Marie #429600

Wow, quite the fan club you've got! As everyone has already noted, excellent photo! The colours are amazing and the eye contact!...sends shivers done the spine. You do a fabulous job with the fences! At the best of times I get at least some distortion from them...what's your secret? #434899

Marie Fields March 19, 2004

Thanks so much Eric for the wonderful compliment! In this case, I can't take any credit for getting past the fence obstacle - as this exhibit isn't fenced. There is just a deep ravine
keeping the tigers in! Thanks again!
