Hot Rocks

Uploaded: January 02, 2007

Description

Contax ST, 28-85 zoom, polarizer, 1/60 sec, F8, Velvia (hand held) Location: Ayers rock, Red Centre, Australia. Although most visitors to Ayers rock insist on climbing the largest monolith in the world. The aborigine are most emphatically against it. Apart from being largely alone I was treated to technicolor that positively hurt the eyes. Never have I seen blues so blue, reds so red and greens so vibrant. I attached a polarizer to rid myself of reflections and further intensify the amazing colors.
