Hopeman Rimlight 2

Uploaded: December 28, 2006

Description

Location: Hopeman, Moray, Scotland. Wet sand and rock pools beneath a deep purple/blue twilight sky at Hopeman's delightful little beach. The movement of the sea scours out little moats around the rocks. The water drains into them forming veins around the periphery, of almost infinite complexity. It was only in the pink light from a clear patch of sky that the delicate tracery was revealed, adding dimension to this wonderful pre-dawn scene. Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, 0.9ND hard grad, F22 at 8 sec's, Velvia.

Ian, I must congratulate you on your splendid image. the lighting is brilliant, the feeling of erenity and loneliness that the image portrays is great, and everything else is spot-on. Regards - Andreas #578755
