The Last Fall Tree of Winter

Uploaded: December 17, 2006

Description

This is the result of a challenge for an interesting Winter shot in a place where the snow does not normally fall. So, here's one of my challenge shots, Ken. Stay tuned for another or two! I was in luck... where the terrain was definitely a bleak winter in Central California, the sky was amazingly beautiful. And this one lone tree with all of it's fall colors still stood stubbornly refusing to give up its leaves any earlier than necessary. This shot was taken today - 12/17/06.

I really love the sky in this, and the one lone tree down below. Beautiful! #575094

Thanks so much Alana and Vladan! God provided the sky (it was right after or before a storm) and the tree... so I guess I won't take credit for it. I just happened to notice this one lone tree with all of it's fall colors still intact, inspite of the VERY cold weather we're having this year. I guess the surrounding mountain is protecting it. #3722553
