Talk about the 'wow' factor - this image of yours certainly has it Mary-Ella!! It is just gorgeous! The translucency of the pigeons wings, and the clear blue sky make for a rather heavenly-looking photograph I think! I love that effect you get with bird's wings when the sun is shining through them too Mary-Ella! Very well captured shot! #409104

Thank you so much everyone, for your very kind comments. I'm having so much fun with this series - but what a challenge it is! You only have one chance each day they fly, because once they decide to come home to their loft, they do it all at once - and quickly! You never know how long they will fly - one day I must have waited for more than an hour, and they never did come home, lol, though they would tease me by coming closer and closer several times. But they are so incredible to watch, and so beautiful - and when you finally get that shot or two that is what you envisioned, it's all worth it. ;-) #409517
