Refraction, Interrupted

I was trying to get a variation on the theme of refraction through wine glasses. Finally, I hit on the idea of taping paper to the back of the glass to block half of what would normally be white, turning it black.
Then I worried that people would see it wasn't the normal refraction and assume it was just an empty glass. Hence the "broken" forks: they show there's water in the glass.
Shot with a tripod. F/5.6, 0.3s, ISO 50.
Editing: cropping and cloning out a few reflections and some haze along the bright edge of the glass.
