This is just adorable! A perfect pose, a perfect crop, a delightful expression, great colour--and, of course, a wonderful little model! He is just so cute. #5831

I agree with Gerda, this is just adorable. Might I add, what great lighting! Was this natural light? Very nice. #8373

Thanks Stephanie! The lighting is a mixture of natural from window and my external flash bounced over my shoulder onto the wall. #8376

This is brilliant, and I'm going to go home tonight and try desperately to re-create it with my son! Any other technical info you can give me? #8389

Angie Hill June 03, 2002

Thanks Amy! I'm so thrilled that you want to try this with your son. Mine is 22 months old, so I'm lucky if I can get 1 decent shot :) As far as the technical. I used a 15-30mm lens, focal length 18mm, 1/60, F9.5 and a black backdrop. Just pray that he stays still! Good luck. Email me to let me know when you post it at: rhill4717@earthlink.net #8390

Angie, my son is 21 months! They are very close in age and I have a hard time getting that "perfect" shot too :o) They are always on the go. Here is a shot of my son, I used food to get him to sit still LOL #8395

Um, not sure what has happened here, sorry about that. I will try the picture one more time :o) #8397

Thanks for the info! My boy is 26 months, and I too know the feeling of praying for just one shot to turn out decently out of a whole roll of film. Poor little guy's a heck of a poser, though; he's had a camera in his face since he was born. I'll let you know how it goes! #8414
