A Perched Hummingbird

Uploaded: September 23, 2006

Description

I've never seen a hummingbird sit in one place for so long... this one stayed there long enough for me to get my camera and change lenses and take numerous shots! Amazing! The red feathers only showed up in this angle of his head... not in the others. Must have been the way the light was hitting his feathers.
