Two F-111's perform a Dump & Burn at the "Riverfire" fireworks spectacular as viewed from Mt Coot-tha Scenic lookout. Riverfire is an annual event in Brisbane Australia. 19 second exposure @f8 ISO100 17-40 f4L

John, I do hope the rumour that this was the last time we see the F1-11's appear at SkyFire aren't true.
We had the view from Morningside and watched them come in over Brisbane from Mt Gravatt.....an awesome sight.
This is a fantastic capture - wish I had managed one this brilliant......

Thanks to you all for your kind remarks. Donna, I hadn't heard that rumour. I have shot this event last year from Hamilton and had planned a different location every year. Next year in the city??

Good, perhaps it is just a rumour afterall.
I attempted to get shots from the city twice (Riparian and also Riverside Place) but it is too close to the action.
I am planning on Bulimba/ New Farm reach of the river.
