Taken at the Spirit of the Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in Spearfish, SD during one of my son's field trips. The relationship between the caretaker (Casey) and his animal friends (in this case a lion, Leonardo) was so wonderful. This sanctuary is definitely worth a special trip. I am sure they would appreciate donations as well since it has such a large population of rescued friends (mostly lions and tigers but several others as well - www.wildlifesanctuary.net).
