Very nice Mike..and you can see for miles! No fog or pollution on this day. It was hard to catch days like this in the Smoky Mtns; there was frequently haze that obscured your view. I like the sky! #516997

Thanks Carol, The sky really showed that I need to clean my sensor.

I can also! You really stretched your aperture out! A grand vista, Mike! #3288083

Mike Rubin September 09, 2006

Thanks Allen, This was shot with a "kit"lens. I used a GradND filter to comp for an overly bright sky. I think it saved the shot from a blown out sky. #3288196

Thanks Melissa. I think I should have placed my GND filter a bit lower, everytime I look at this I see a thin bright strip. Next time I need to be more careful. #3321878

Thanks John, I just need to get out and practice more with the GND filter. Althoug it did save this mid-day shot. #3437273

Beautiful work Mike, the cover was very thick while I was there a lot of heavy UV rays and then clouds. #3457698

Beautiful capture of my backyard! I live not so far from this park. When you are feeling adventerous, take a hike on one of the many waterfall trails. #4346192
