Usually "The rule of thirds " makes for a much more pleasing image However I like the circular pattern in the water and I don't think it would be as nice if you followed the rule. I do think that a lower POV would be good, but not low to the point that the pattern of the water would be lost. #3246984Rhonda Burger August 31, 2006

I do like the elements of the ripples in the water as they produce the effect of showing the vulnerability of the duckling by framing it with a bullseye. However, I think you might consider cropping the picture so the duck is at the top left corner. Congratulations on the finalist, and congrats on a fine piece of art. I only critique the ones I like.'PS- don't dwell on the angle of the photograph, it is something you cannot change; dwell on what can be done at the present.
