Thank you Bill, Ken, and Nancy. The lighting as achieved by bouncing the flash off a white disc placed to my right - that's the reflection you see in the cat's eyes and that's how I get the soft shadows... I love this easy, but effective lighting technique. It's cheap, but looks great (in my humble opinion). ;-) The lighting was the thing I liked most about this image. #3246345
