Thanks Darren and Candice. LOL Candice I meant more metaphorically. ;) Although I have a picture of (lol) two of my boys doing this same thing to his dad (his dad is doing the catching in this picture) the day after...seriously. He doesn't go quite so high but it is hilarious!! They did it to show Joshua that Daddy likes to fly too!! Cracks me up!! They are such a fun bunch of boys! I just love em to death. #3127228Kenneth Mucke August 08, 2006

Now I understand....when you were a kid, they tossed you, and someone forgot to catch you, and you bounced on your head. And now you're the Sheesh we all know and love. LOL That is a great picture, Sheesh. #3142828Carla Metzler August 09, 2006
LOL, this is wonderful, Sheesh! #3143132She-She Killough August 11, 2006
LOL no worries Andree, His Father would NEVER miss. His son is one of his greatest treasures! #3152738Donald K. Cherry August 15, 2006
Not so sure that I approve of tossing kids around like this...looks a little dangerous to me...but it makes for a pretty cool shot! When my daughter was a baby, she fell from her swing not more than a foot off the ground, broke her femur and was in a body cast for 8 weeks, so I may be a little paranoid about stuff like this!! #3167080She-She Killough August 15, 2006
LOL I understand the one doing the catching is MR. Daredevil himself and broke his arm at 2 years old. But besides stitches and scratches he is like a cat that ALWAYS lands on his feet and his son is his Mini me. They are all boys. With girls it may be different. (although I was jumping off the roof as soon as I thought of the idea) ;) #3167091Cheryl E. Molennor September 28, 2006
Love It !! #3379026Chris Ebben January 07, 2007
My family have never been kid tossers for a very good reason. We were at a wedding once, when an older cousin tossed his baby in the air as he did often & then would catch it himself. On it's way back down to be caught safely it vomited all over the waiting dad's head & clothes. Not a good look & no-one would sit next to this smelly guest. We all crossed that act of our lists for future reference when we had kids of our own. Funny shot, brought back memories=^..^= #3793000She-She Killough January 07, 2007
LOL!! Funny story Chris. I would have sat next to him JUST because no one else would. :D Been doing it (although not THAT high) for more than 20 years...it will probably keep on going unless a baby has a fussy stomach or does not like that kind of fun. But if they have our genes in them ...they are probably pretty daring and would probably love it like they all have so far. :D #3793019Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
